Luke Delaney

MEng CEng MIStructE

Luke joined Glanville's Oxfordshire office in 2014 and has over 10 years’ experience in a wide range of structural engineering projects including refurbishment, healthcare, residential and industrial.

Promoted to Associate Director in 2017, Luke's interest and expertise still lies primarily in large-scale commercial and education projects. He enjoys being involved in the design and technical aspects as well as working closely with the client, design team and contractors to develop the best possible solution.

Luke and the team are motivated by the challenges of complex projects, large or small, providing practical solutions to unusual briefs. He is committed to furthering Glanville’s BIM capabilities to improve project coordination and innovation.

Outside of work Luke likes sports and outdoor pursuits and regularly plays squash, and goes mountain biking and hiking. He is also a keen photographer.

Ruth Eve, Associate Director

Chartered Structural Engineer, BEng MIStructE

Ruth has been working within the Structural Engineering team at Glanville since 2000, after graduating from Oxford Brookes University. Ruth’s expertise spans numerous sectors, and she has worked across a wide range of projects including commercial, leisure, residential, education and refurbishment for contemporary and historic structures. Working from Glanville’s Didcot office, Ruth and her team offer a hands-on approach and enjoy providing a proactive approach to support the client and strengthen the wider design team.

When not at work Ruth is actively involved in supporting her local schools and scout group with their fundraising efforts. She likes nothing more than pottering in the garden, dreaming of designing a garden for the Chelsea Flower Show.

Benjamin Hextall, Associate Director

Chartered Land Surveyor, BSc MSc MRICS

Associate Director Benjamin has fifteen years geomatics experience and has been a key member of the Glanville Geomatics team for over ten years. Ben has a forward thinking philosophy and is always creative in ensuring that the client’s expectations are fully met.
A very personable individual, Ben has completed extensive projects in landmark architecture, both in the UK and abroad, and specialises in measured surveys in heritage, new design projects and 3d laser scanning.

Kevin Rayner, Associate Director

Civil Engineer, BEng

Kevin joined Glanville in 1997, and is Associate Director working in the Civil Engineering department in the Oxfordshire office.  He leads an experienced and dedicated team working on a diverse range of infrastructure, housing and commercial schemes, from feasibility through planning to detailed design and construction.

Peter Whitehead, Associate Director

Chartered Civil Engineer, BSc CEng MICE MCIHT

Peter has a firmly based, broad range of civil engineering consultancy experience gained over more than 30 years. He joined Glanville in 1997 to develop the firm's expertise in traffic and transport, which is now well established. Peter has an innovative but practical approach to challenging projects.

Jan Zelisko, Associate Director

Civil Engineer, BSc

Jan is a Civil Engineer with over 30 years’ experience gained primarily in infrastructure design for commercial, industrial and residential developments. Since rejoining Glanville in 2006 he has been responsible for the day-to-day running of the Building Surveying department and specialises in the design and project management of civil engineering and building works associated with electricity sub-stations.
