Glanville have been from the outset involved in the provision of both advisory and technical guidance in respect to the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 (DDA) for both Public and Private sector client base.
The act requires that all service providers review their property and make all necessary and reasonable adjustment and physical changes by 2004 We provide both “Walk and Talk” access audits and full critical appraisal access audits with budget costs detailing the disabled provisions required for a particular building type.
The purpose of the DDA audit is to provide recommendations and guidance on the accessibility of the building for disabled people and in particular individuals with sensory impairments without affecting the convenience of use of the building for all occupants.
