A home zone is a residential street in which the living environment predominates over any provision for
traffic. This can be achieved by adopting approaches to street design, landscaping and highway
engineering that control how vehicles move without necessarily restricting the number of vehicle
movements.
The Government has given ever greater support to the concept of home zones and Glanville are now
working closely with a number of developers and house builders to introduce innovative and creative
designs to achieve these objectives.
