Phase 1 - Site Plan showing cut and fill areas

Residential developments - Worcester Park

Glanville Consultants has the experience and technology to provide a fast, thorough and efficient site solution to housing development. A complete service was provided to St James Homes Ltd to redevelop an old sewerage treatment plant into a 59 acre development. The development now consists of a new park with three large lakes extending to 31 acres, 480 new homes with high quality open space, landscaping and roads.

We have created a 3D ground model, which has achieved a cut and fill balance within the site boundary involving the movement of over 300,000m³ of soil.

Glanville has also developed a detailed surface water strategy involving "SUDS" based systems to restrict discharges from the site and have incorporated three large lakes for wildlife preservation and amenity use as well as several other water features.

In addition we have also be involved in negotiations with Thames Water, to facilitate the foul flows through a tunnel as well as facilitating the decommissioning and diversion of numerous sewers.

The high quality hard landscaping exceeds adoptable standard and is to a high standard of urban design. The layout deals effectively with the varied site boundary conditions and creates a new internal environment with its own character, the first phase requesting a "New England" style.
