Glanville & Coronavirus (COVID-19)

During the current unprecedented and challenging circumstances, Glanville aims to:

  1. Continue providing a good service to our clients (be contactable, responsive and meet deadlines).
  2. Look after the health and wellbeing of our staff.
  3. Comply with government policy to support the wider effort to suppress the spread of coronavirus.

To achieve these objectives we have already put in place home working facilities for all staff, including computing and communications.  All of our staff are now working from home, with the exception of our surveyors.  We have a number of tools available to replace conventional meetings, i.e. conference calls, emails and video conferencing, and will work with clients to ensure projects progress smoothly.

We have introduced a policy prohibiting face-to-face meetings, and the risk of undertaking site visits is being robustly assessed on a case-by-case basis, in conjunction with other stakeholders.  When visiting site, government guidance on social distancing is adhered to, and precautions taken to prevent the spread of infection. 

Glanville’s Directors meet daily by video conference to review the latest government guidance and to put in place appropriate plans to meet our objectives.
